I’m 55 and had it for flutter but stopped 5 days ago as I can’t bare the sude effects…dizzy, blurry, wobbly, breathless etc. so far so good, still feel rough buy guess it will take time, I am getting some rapid heart beats and still feel ill, but determined to stick it out and hoping to feel better in a few weeks, and if I really struggle I can always take a tablet as they do ... An ecg showed ectopic beats and pvc beats for which i was kept for a heart echo and given bisoprolol 2.5 After being discharged I decided the 2.5 was not for me and asked the doctor after another trip to a&e if i could go for the smaller 1.25 dose which they agreed. Bisoprolol is a beta-blocker that slows down the activity of your heart by stopping messages sent by some nerves to your heart.
