Chandrayaan - 3 comprises three main components: a propulsion module, lander module, and rover. The propulsion module carried the lander and rover configuration to a 100-kilometre (62 mi) lunar orbit. Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was successfully launched onboard LVM- 3 on 14th July, 2023 at 14:35 hrs from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR. The spacecraft is currently undergoing a series of orbit maneuvers with the objective of reaching the moon’s orbit and has two phases namely Earth Bound Phase and Lunar Bound Phase. Chandrayaan-3 is an Indian Space Research Organization mission that landed near the south pole of the Moon on Aug. 23, 2023. The mission includes a lander and a rover. India plans to demonstrate end-to-end landing and roving capabilities. Chandrayaan - 3 is an ISRO mission to demonstrate landing and roving capabilities on the south pole of the Moon. It launched on July 14, 2023, and soft landed on August 23, 2023, with a lander and a rover carrying scientific payloads.
