e - Shram , an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is a step towards building the Aadhaar Authenticated Comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), working in the country. eSHRAM is a portal for registering workers in the unorganized sector in India, such as migrant workers, gig workers, agricultural workers, etc. It provides details of their name, occupation, address, skill types and family details for social security benefits.
