The Reserve Bank of India, abbreviated as RBI, is the central bank of India, regulatory body for the Indian banking system and Indian currency. Shaktikanta Das (born 26 February 1957) is an Indian bureaucrat and retired Indian Administrative Service officer who is currently serving as the 14th Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of India.
