Today (15-APR-2025) is the last day for booking expenditure in the JJM-IMIS Application for the Financial Year 2024-2025. Kindly ensure that all pending entries are completed and submitted by the end of the day to avoid any discrepancies. Jal Jeevan Mission is a government scheme to provide tap water connections to rural households in India. It has achieved 79.74% coverage as of February 2025, and has brought health, education and economic benefits to the rural population. As of now, the target is planned to be achieved by 2024 through the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). As per the information in DDWS, as on 31.3.2019, only 18.33% of rural households i.e. 3.27 crore out of total 17.87 crore rural households in the country have piped water connection. Jal Jeevan Mission , is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India.
