Jeevan Pramaan Jeevan Pramaan – Digital Life Certificate is a biometric- enabled, Aadhaar authentication based system. Jeevan Pramaan is created based on the self declared information along with Aadhaar authentication. What is Jeevan Pramaan ? Jeevan Pramaan is a digital life certificate that pensioners can submit to the Pension Disbursing Authorities (PDAs) like banks or post offices. It serves as proof of the pensioner’s existence and is mandatory for receiving regular pension benefits. Traditionally, this certificate required physical presence, but now, with Face Authentication, the process has become fully contactless and can be done from the comfort of home. Jeevan Pramaan is a scheme that allows pensioners to provide their life certificates online using Aadhaar authentication. It eliminates the need for pensioners to physically visit the disbursing agency or the certification authority. Launched by Hon. PM Shri. Narendra Modi ji, on 10th Nov 2014, Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners Scheme of the Government of India, known as the Jeevan Pramaan (JP) seeks to address this very problem by digitizing the whole process of securing the life certificate .
