Pfms: Is a web-based online software

PFMS is a web-based online software application developed by the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) to track and report funds and payments under various schemes of Government of India. PFMS has interface with the treasury systems of all states, the core banking system of over 300 banks, and the beneficiary management applications of different ministries and departments. PFMS accepts no responsibility in relation to the accuracy, completeness, usefulness or otherwise, of the contents. Users are advised to verify/check any information with the relevant Government department (s) and/or other source (s). PFMS is a Government of India public financial management reforms initiative which monitors programs in the social sector and tracks funds disbursed. Public Financial Management System ( PFMS ) is a financial management platform for all plan schemes, a database of all recipient agencies, integration with core banking solution of banks handling plan funds, integration with State Treasuries and efficient and effective tracking of fund flow to the lowest level of implementation for plan scheme of the Government.
