Rahul Chahar Player Profile - Rahul Chahar was a key member of Mumbai Indians' two IPL title-winning sides at the end of the 2010s. He took 28 wickets in the wins in 2019 and 2020. Rahul Chahar is a leg spinner from Rajasthan who doesn’t rely much on turn but on his skill to vary his pace and length to deceive the batters. He made his IPL debut in 2017 for RPS but moved to MI in 2018. Rahul played an integral role in MI’s title triumphs in 2019 and 2020 and later moved to Punjab Kings in 2022 where he stayed for three seasons. Sunrisers Hyderabad spent INR 3.20 Crore to acquire his services for TATA IPL 2025. It seems highly unlikely that the 27-year-old will be retained by the franchise. Rahul Chahar Rahul Chahar played just one game last season after being bought by the Hyderabad team for ₹3.20 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Instead of him, SRH trusted young leg-spinner Zeeshan Ansari, who went on to play 10 matches during the season.
