I have been having trouble starting Sky go on my windows 11 PC for a while. It worked when I 1st installed it a few months ago, but now it just starts up , checks for updates then closes before it gets to the main menu. I have tried a few things people have suggested like clearing chrome browser ... I am looking to join sky for broadband and TV but the options are bewildering to me. I'd like to speak to a real person at sky on the phone for some help in choosing the best package for me but can't find a telephone number. Does anyone have a number they can give me please? Have downloaded the SkyGo desktop app for windows intop my laptop and when trying to run it says 'checking for updates' which seems to be fine and then it just gets stuck wirth the big play button on the screen, this just stays there and doesn't load any further. I have uninstalled and re-installed ... Sky Ads are the most annoying - channel 4 and itv are much better. Sky ads especially that EDF one and the Argos one feature repetitive music and naff messages. Do sky appeal to a different audience? Sooooo annoying. I'll never get EDF energy after the endless repeat of the kid on guitar. How effin...
