Mitchell Starc has retired from T20 internationals to prioritise Test and ODI cricket. This move aims to keep him fresh for the 2027 World Cup and major tours including the Ashes. Starc , who represented Australia in 65 T20Is, last played in the format in the T20 World Cup last year with his final game being against India in the Super Eight. Mitchell Starc decided not to return to India for the remainder of IPL 2025 campaign after the league was stopped due to the Indo-Pak conflict.
