On September 19, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio launched India's inaugural wireless home network. The service, called JioAirFiber , aims to provide last-mile connectivity by utilizing Jio 's extensive optical fiber network. Jio AirFiber is a wireless broadband service that provides high-speed internet through 5G technology, offering a cable-free alternative to traditional routers. In 2025, Jio will have several AirFiber plans by duration and internet speed. The plans have fixed data limits, typically around 1000GB, and speeds from 30 Mbps to a scorching fast 1 Gbps. Many plans also provide free access to popular OTT platforms. And over 800 television channels via a 4K set-top box that comes with the installation.
