Ambedkar statue: October 31st

October 31st, 2018, marked the inauguration of the world’s tallest statue – the Statue of Unity, against the backdrop of the dramatic Satpura and Vindhyachal hills in Kevadia, Gujarat. The 182-metre (600 feet aprox.) statue is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of independent India. On 14th April 2023, on his 132nd birth anniversary, the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar was unveiled in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. The grand statue was unveiled by the Chief Minister of the state, KC Rao. On this occasion Dr. Ambedkar ’s grandson Adv. Prakash Ambedkar was also present. The Statue of Social Justice, also known as the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Smriti Vanam (English: Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Memorial), is a 206-ft tall statue located in Vijayawada in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Dr. B.R Ambedkar statue is a 125-ft tall statue in Hyderabad. It is 125 feet tall and stands on a 50 feet high platform and has a total height of 175 feet. It is the fifth tallest and third tallest standing statue in India.
