Arvind Singh Mewar (81), a descendant of Rajput king Maharana Pratap, was ill for a long time and under treatment at his residence in City Palace in Udaipur. Arvind Singh Mewar was a businessman and the 76th custodian of the House of Mewar, Rajasthan, India. He was a cricket player, a hotelier, a musician, and a recipient of many awards and honors. He died on 16 March 2025 at the age of 80. Arvind Singh Mewar, the descendant of Maharana Pratap and chairman of the HRH Group of Hotels, passed away at 81 in Udaipur on March 16, 2025, after battling a prolonged illness. Known for preserving Mewar’s royal heritage and promoting tourism in Udaipur. Arvind Singh Mewar inherited not just a title but a responsibility—to protect and promote the heritage of Mewar. While Mewar is known for its historic palaces, forts, and grand traditions, Singh saw the need to mix tradition with progress.
