Mobile Authentication based Sign Up : DigiLocker uses mobile authentication based signup via OTP (one time password) for authenticating users and allowing access to the platform. In order to sign up for Digital Locker, a resident should have his/her Aadhaar number. Before signing up for a Digital Locker, it is necessary that your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar number in the UIDAI system. Enter your Aadhaar number on the login field. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent on your UIDAI registered mobile number.
