Digital library: A State-level workshop on the future of

A State-level workshop on the future of digital libraries in India and the importance of digital education was held at Providence Women’s College, Kozhikode, on Monday, 24th March 2025. R. Dinesh, Director of the Indian Institute of Spices Research, inaugurated the programme, which was organised with the support of the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and the NDLI Club. Representatives from various educational institutions participated in the workshop. With the aim of making a digital library that is accessible to all users, the website prioritizes ease of discovery and personalization of relevant academic knowledge. The website can presently be viewed in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odia, and Assamese. Access exclusive parliamentary reports, research papers, and archives in eLibrary Sansad. National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community.
