Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh , 92, passed away after sudden loss of consciousness, despite resuscitative efforts at AIIMS Delhi. Manmohan Singh (1932-2024) was an Indian politician, economist and statesman who served as the prime minister of India from 2004 to 2014. He was the first Sikh prime minister of India and the fourth longest-serving prime minister after Nehru, Gandhi and Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Dr . Manmohan Singh , the former Prime Minister and key architect of the 1991 economic reforms, following his passing on 26th December 2024.
