IIM Visakhapatnam for me has lived up to its name truly- The Sunrise IIM. About IIM Visakhapatnam Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools. It is a new generation IIM, set up by the Government of India in September 2015. Candidates shortlisted by multiple IIMs (IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Indore) must attend the PI process at atleast one of these IIMs. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being marked as "Absent" for the IIM Visakhapatnam PGP 2025-27 admission process, and they will not be considered for further evaluation. Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam is an Institution of National Importance under the IIM Act 2017. Its overarching goal is to attain standards of global excellence in management, management research and allied areas of knowledge; serving in the process, the cause of inclusive, equitable and sustainable national development goals as enshrined under the Objects of the Act.
