Also known as Mausoleum of Bahaduddnbhai Hasainbhai, this place is a mausoleum and its unique architecture makes it one of the most important attractions of Junagarh . The district is divided into 10 talukas of which major ones include, Junagadh , Keshod, Mangrol, Manavadar. Junagadh is famous for the Gir Sanctuary, the only abode to Asiatic lions and mountain range of Girnar which is a major pilgrimage destination. The Uperkot Fort in Junagarh is an excellent example of a historical structure dating back to the mediaeval period. About 2300 years have passed since this fort was first constructed. Junagadh (જૂનાગઢ ⓘ) is the city and headquarters of Junagadh district in the Indian state of Gujarat. Located at the foot of the Girnar hills, 355 kilometres (221 mi) southwest of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar (the state capital), it is the seventh largest city in the state.
