The Kawad Yatra 2025 begins on 11 July. Devotees, known as Kanwariyas, carry sacred Ganga water in a ' Kawad ' on their shoulders, symbolising deep devotion, spiritual austerity, ego renunciation, and complete surrender to Lord Shiva during the holy month of Sawan.
