The PM-KISAN scheme aims to supplement the financial needs of the SMFs in procuring various inputs to ensure proper crop health and appropriate yields, commensurate with the anticipated farm income at the end of the each crop cycle. PM-KISAN is a government scheme offering financial support to small and marginal farmers across India. Under this initiative, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts. Fully funded by the Government of India, PM-KISAN ensures timely financial aid to strengthen farmers’ livelihoods and promote agricultural growth. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) The objective of the scheme is to augment the income of families of all Farmers who own cultivable landholding, subject to certain exclusions.
