Mekapati Goutham Reddy (2 November 1971 – 21 February 2022) was an Indian businessman [2] and politician from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He was the Minister for Industries, Commerce, and Information Technology in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Mekapati Goutham Reddy won the seat in 2014 and 2019, serving as Minister for Industries & IT until his demise in 2022. In the 2022 by-election, his brother Mekapati Vikram Reddy secured victory for YSRCP. Mekapati Goutham was married to Mr. Sri Keerthi and the couple has two children, Ananya Reddy is their daughter and Arjun Reddy is their son. He had two brothers, Prithvi Kumar Reddy and Vikram Reddy and his father Rajamohan was a previous Member of Parliament of Nellore Lok Sabha constituency.
