National Science Day 2025 : Theme and Celebrations Each year, National Science Day features a unique theme that highlights an important aspect of science and innovation. In 2025 , the theme is “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat”, reflecting the importance of youth in advancing science for the nation’s development. The aim is to inspire the next generation of scientists to become leaders in scientific research and innovation ... National Science Day 2025 is celebrated on 28 February 2025 every year. This year the theme is “ Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat .” The day aims to honour scientific achievements like “Raman Effect” and inspire innovation among young minds. The National Science Day 2025 theme is “ Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for VIKSIT Bharat .” This theme sets the direction for discussions, seminars, and activities held nationwide, including celebrations at Vigyan Bhawan. The National Science Day 2025 will be celebrated by KSCST on 28 February 2025 at J. N. Tata Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science for the benefit of High School Students. Around 750 High schools students from Government BBMP High Schools and Government and Aided High schools in and around Bengaluru will be participating.
